The Lufkin High School Alumni Association is about to kick off its new scholarship program for graduates of LHS called 2.5 in 2. Our Association is starting a new endowment fund for past graduates of LHS. We will be trying to raise 2.5 million dollars over a two year period. More information will follow.

The Lufkin High School Scholarship awards night was held at the Lufkin Civic Center on May 12, 2008. The Alumni Association awarded 100 scholarships with a monetary value of $100,000 to seniors and graduates of LHS.
